Soccer Official Match Times
For bets to be considered official, the match must complete full-time (90 minutes). The terms ‘full-time’, ’90 minutes’, and ‘normal time’ all refer to the period of play including the 90 minutes of regulation plus injury time, but not including any extra times (overtime) or penalty shootouts.
Main Game
Handicap bets, total or 3-way Line of any match that finishes before the completion of 90 minutes play, unless otherwise stated, will be void. The exceptions to this rule are in relation to friendly matches, where all match markets will be settled based on the actual result when the game finishes (excluding any extra-time), regardless of whether the full 90 minutes are played.
First Half
Bets only take into account the first 45 minutes of normal playing time plus injury time. Bets on the spread, total or 3-way Line of any First Half that finishes before the completion of 45 minutes play, unless otherwise stated, will be void.
Second Half
Bets take into account only the first 45 minutes of normal playing time plus injury time. Handicap bets, total or 3-way Line of any First Half that finishes before the completion of 45 minutes play, unless otherwise stated, will be void.
Overtime
Extra time includes both 15-minute halves of play plus injury time. Handicap bets, total or 3way Line of any Extra Period that starts but is not fully completed, unless otherwise stated, will be void.
Suspended/postponed soccer matches
In the case of soccer matches suspended before they finish, bets will have action only if play resumes within 48 hours of the original start time.
In the case of matches that have begun and have been suspended during the game, the match must resume where it was stopped, within 48 hours of the original start time. If the league or governing body takes the decision to restart the game completely from the beginning, the bets will not have action.
All matches during an elimination tournament or cup are played until those matches end, regardless of whether or not the event concludes on a specific day within the tournament parameters. Match must resume where it was stopped, if the league or governing body takes the decision to restart the game completely from the beginning, bets will have no action.
Change of venue
If a match venue in soccer is changed (other than to the visiting team’s ground) then bets already placed will stand providing the home team is still designated as such. If the home and visiting team for a listed match are reversed (e.g., match is played at the original away team’s ground) then bets placed based on the original listing will be void.
We will endeavor to identify on our website all matches played at a neutral venue. For matches played at a neutral venue (whether indicated on our site or not), bets will stand regardless of which team is listed as the home team.
Soccer matches not played as listed
If an official fixture lists different team/match details to those listed on our website, bets will be void. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Discrepancies in Age Group (‘Under 21’ vs. ‘Under 23’)
- Gender (‘Women’s’ vs ‘Men’s’)
In all other cases bets stand, including instances where we list a team name without specifying the term ‘XI’ in the name.
If a match is played in a non-standard format (I.e., 2 halves of 60 minutes / 3 halves of 30 minutes, etc.) all markets related to the 1st and 2nd half will be void.
Additionally, it is recommended to add the following:
For these cases, only the bets for Result, Total, and Handicap will have action. Bets placed on propositions will NOT have action.
If a match is played in a different format that does not complete 90 minutes (for example, 2 halves of 25 minutes), ALL bets will be void, both for full game and half-time bets.
Soccer propositions general rules
The General Prop Rules apply to all markets unless otherwise in the Specific Prop Rules. If there is any inconsistency between the General Prop Rules and the Specific Prop Rules, the Specific Prop Rules shall prevail.
Full Game Props
The majority of full game props are based only on the 90 minutes of regulation plus injury time unless otherwise stated. Bets on any match that finishes before the completion of 90 minutes play, unless otherwise stated, will be void; except for those bets the outcome of which has already been determined at the time the game finishes. The market must be fully determined for bets to stand; for example, ‘First Player to Score’ or ‘Time of the First Goal’ bets will stand provided a goal has been scored at the time the game finishes.
First Half
The majority of First Half props are based only on the first 45 minutes of regulation plus injury time unless otherwise stated. Bets on any First Half that finishes before the completion of 45 minutes play, unless otherwise stated, will be void; except for those bets the outcome of which has already been determined at the time the Half ends. The market must be fully determined for bets to stand, for example, ‘First Player to Score’ or ‘Time of the First Goal’ bets will stand provided a goal has been scored at the time the game finishes.
Second Half
The majority of Second Half props are based only on the last 45 minutes of regulation plus injury time unless otherwise stated. Bets on any Second Half that finishes before the completion of 45 minutes play, unless otherwise stated, will be void; except for those bets the outcome of which has already been determined at the time the Half ends. The market must be fully determined for bets to stand, for example, ‘First Player to Score’ or ‘Time of the First Goal’ bets will stand provided a goal has been scored at the time the game finishes.
Overtime Periods
The majority of Overtime props are based in 15 minutes halves of play plus injury time. Bets on any Overtime Period that finishes before the completion of 30 minutes, unless otherwise stated, will be void, except for those bets the outcome of which has already been determined at the time the period finishes.

Result with handicap “Handicap (1×2)”
This forecast allows you to bet on the result of a match and add a point difference (handicap) to the home or visiting team.
It is presented as follows:
- Home team wins (1:0)
- Win away team (1:0)
- Tie (1:0)
- Home team wins (0:1)
- Win away team (0:1)
- Tie (0:1)
- (1:0) It is an advantage for the team on the left side.
- (0:1) It is an advantage for the team on the right side.
In order to win this modality, it is necessary that the result option you choose is fulfilled, once the difference in points has been added. For example:
Example 1: Real Madrid (1:0) – Result: (Real Madrid 0 – 0 Barcelona)
When applying the advantage of 1 goal to the score of “Real Madrid”, the score would become: “Real Madrid 1 – 0 Barcelona”, marking the bet as a winning bet, because, once the difference in points is applied, the selected team would be the winner.
Example 2: Tottenham Hotspur (0:2) – Result: (Tottenham Hotspur 1 – 0 AC Milan)
By applying the 2-goal advantage to the score of “AC Milan”, the score would become: “Tottenham Hotspur 1 – 2 AC Milan”, marking the bet as a losing bet, because, once the point difference is applied, the team selected to win was left with a lower score.
Example 3: Draw (3:0) – Result: (Bayern Munich 0 – 3 PSG)
When applying the 3-goal advantage to the “Bayern Munich” team, the score would become: “Bayern Munich 3 – 3 PSG”, marking the bet as a winning bet, because, once the point difference is applied, the score would be a draw.

Who lifts the trophy?

Tie rule (Dead Heat)
This rule applies to the following predictions:
- Top scorer.
- Maximum Assist.
- Team with the least goals scored.
- Any other forecasts’ payout that has to be defined under this rule.
In the event of a tie, when 3 or more competitors are offered in a betting option, the dead heat rule applies.
Under the dead heat rule, the payout will be the total amount of the bet (bet plus win), divided by the number of tied players, minus the bet.
For example, you place a $100 bet on a player with +300 to finish in the top 5 places of the tournament, and he finishes fifth, but tied with two other players. In this case, the dead heat rule will result in the following payout.
Sum of bet + amount won
(100 + 300) = 400
Take this result and divide it by the number of tied players (3), which gives 400/3 = 133.33
Take this second result and subtract the amount of the bet (100), resulting in 133.33 – 100 = 33.3
Therefore, the payout for this bet would be $33.33

Criteria and rules for bet settlement
We explain which events are considered, how they are counted and under what criteria the results of each market are determined, so that you have full clarity when placing your bets.
Successful passes
A pass is considered successful when a player intends to deliver the ball to a teammate, and it reaches its intended destination.
The following are not considered passes:
• Corner kicks
• Goal kicks (unless the player directly and clearly passes the ball to a teammate)
• Free kicks
• Throw ins
• Clearances
• Crosses
• Touches of the ball while a player is sprinting (touches made by the same player while rapidly advancing forward).
Headers, “flick-ons” and the use of the chest can be considered passes only if there is a clear INTENTION to deliver the ball to a teammate.
A hurried clearance to move the ball away from the danger zone is NOT a pass. Neither is it when the goalkeeper sends the ball to the other side of the field, to an area where a teammate could PROBABLY take it.
The kick off is considered a pass provided it is played as such (as is almost always the case).
Assists are not included in the count for successful passes.
Failed passes
A failed pass by the player who is delivering is considered when:
• A player doesn’t deliver the ball to a teammate
• When the pass goes out of bounds.
• When the pass allows the opponent to gain possession of the ball or any other situation where the ball does not have a clear teammate as its intended destination.
An incorrect pass by the RECEIVER is considered when:
• The receiver is distracted and loses sight of the ball’s trajectory.
• The receiving technique is defective.
• The receiver fails to reach the ball by modifying or stopping its trajectory.
It is not considered an incorrect pass when:
• The ball is cleared and taken by an opponent.
• While the player is sprinting or covering a lot of ground, and one of the touches on the ball is very long, it deviates or is stolen.
Steal
To be considered a steal, in addition to taking the ball from an opponent, the player must intend to intercept a pass or take the ball away from the opponent.
Steals must result in the possession of the stolen ball or clearly repel a manifest goal situation.
Steals are ONLY achieved when a player steals the ball, controls it, and clearly passes it to a teammate.
Clearances, goal kicks, goalkeeper clearances, or any desperate long ball to get the ball out of the danger area are NOT CONSIDERED STEALS.
Tackle
A tackle is awarded when a player successfully takes the ball away from an opposing player and his team gains possession as a result (including situations when the ball goes out of play, but in favour of the team that makes the tackle).
Shot on goal
A shot on goal is considered when a player strikes the ball and it goes within the area delimited by the posts and the crossbar.
Without being a goal and without hitting the posts or the crossbar.
It is also considered a shot on goal when the ball previously grazes or bounces slightly off an opponent, teammate or referee and still heads towards the goal.
Under normal playing conditions, only the goalkeeper can save a shot on goal to prevent it being a goal.
If a defensive player prevents a shot that is clearly heading towards the goal with scoring potential, it will be considered a Shot Blocked by the defending player and only a shot for the attacker.
Shots on woodwork
A shot on the woodwork is a shot made by an offensive player that directly hits one of the posts or the crossbar and does not previously hit the goalkeeper and is not a goal.
It is also considered a shot on the post when the ball previously grazes or bounces slightly off an opponent, teammate or referee without significantly changing its trajectory and ends up hitting one of the posts or the crossbar.
Shot off target
A Shot off target is a shot taken by a player towards the goal but goes outside the limits of the Goal Line without hitting the goalkeeper, the posts, or the crossbar, and is not a goal.
It is also considered a Shot off target when the ball slightly touches or bounces off an opponent, teammate or referee without significantly changing its trajectory towards outside the limits of the Goal Line.
Regardless of its proximity to the goal, the intention to direct the shot towards the goal is judged in this case.
A goal is scored when the ball has completely crossed the Goal Line between the Posts and below the Crossbar, provided that the scoring team has not committed a violation of the Rules of the Game.
If possible, it should be indicated whether the goal was scored with the head or through an offensive play (with the feet or any other part of the body).
Assist
An assist is any pass that leaves a teammate in a clear and obvious scoring opportunity, whether inside or outside the penalty area of the opposing team.
Every goal from open play has an assist, unless the scorer made moves to evade several opponents and made a long run before scoring. Own goals, directly taken free kicks, direct corner goals and penalties do not get an assist awarded.
Assists are not counted separately as successful passes, they are considered as a separate statistic.
Free kick goal
A goal is scored when the ball has completely crossed the Goal Line between the Posts and below the Crossbar, provided that the scoring team has not committed a violation of the Rules of the Game.
The Free Kick Goal is scored by taking a shot from a stationary ball, after the referee has awarded a foul that warrants it.
The goal is scored in the same play, and the player who takes the Free Kick is credited with the goal, and no assist is marked in the same.
Goal scored by body part
The following body parts are used as individual betting markets:
• Right foot.
• Left foot.
• Head.
The ‘foot’ here are includes ankle, shin, knee, thigh, or any other part of the leg.
Save
A goalkeeper stopping the ball from crossing the goal line with any part of their body. This includes intentional attempts from opponents, as well as unintentional/misplaced efforts from teammates (if the intervention is not perceived to be a routine collection of the ball).
A save that is turned behind that would be expected to result in a corner for the opposing team will only be recognised as a save if the match officials award the corner. If a goal-kick is awarded, the goalkeeper will not be awarded a save.
If a more prominent defensive action from a teammate prevents the ball from entering the goal after a goalkeeper’s intervention, this will be categorised as a block for the defender in question. A save will not also be awarded.
Own goal
A goal is scored when the ball has completely crossed the Goal Line between the Posts and below the Crossbar, provided that the scoring team has not committed a violation of the Rules of the Game.
An own goal is involuntarily scored by a defensive player in their own goal and is counted for the opposing team.
It is an own goal only when the ball was NOT heading towards the goal, and with the deflection of the defensive player, the ball changes its trajectory and enters the goal.
If the ball was already going towards the goal, even if it is touched by a defender, it is considered a goal of play, and it is credited to the offensive player who shot.
Penalty goal
A penalty goal is scored by a player after the referee has awarded a direct free kick inside the penalty area.
It will be considered a goal when the ball has completely crossed the Goal Line between the Posts and below the Crossbar.
Penalty kick goals are also counted when a match must be resolved, as a last resort, by alternating kicks.
Deflected penalty
A deflected penalty is one that is not converted by a player after the referee awards a direct free kick inside the penalty area and the ball does not hit the posts or crossbar, nor is it saved or cleared by the opposing goalkeeper. A penalty is considered deflected when the shooter kicks the ball, and it completely crosses the goal line outside of the posts or above the crossbar.
Saved penalty
A saved penalty is one that is executed by a player after the referee awards a direct free kick inside the penalty area and the goalkeeper deflects or retains the ball without it resulting in a goal. A penalty is considered saved when the shooter sends the ball towards the goal, and it is cleared or touched by the opposing goalkeeper beforehand.
Penalty off the post
A penalty off the post is one that is executed by a player after the referee awards a direct free kick inside the penalty area and the ball hits the posts or crossbar without resulting in a goal. A penalty is considered off the post when the shooter sends the ball directly towards the posts or crossbar.
Penalty for committed foul
It is charged when the referee awards a penalty kick to a player after a foul is committed inside the penalty area, according to the FIFA Official Regulations, except for handball fouls, which are charged with the Handball Penalty incidence.
Handball penalty
It is marked as an incident when the referee awards a free kick for the action of a player who intentionally touches the ball with one or both hands inside the penalty area (excluding goalkeepers inside this penalty area).
Foul committed
It is charged in the following instances when the referee awards a direct free kick, after one of the following offenses has been committed:
• Kicking or attempting to kick an opponent
• Tripping or attempting to trip an opponent
• Jumping at an opponent
• Charging an opponent
• Striking or attempting to strike an opponent
• Pushing an opponent
• Tackling an opponent
• When an Offence is Committed and the referee applies the Advantage Rule, that offense will not be marked as a game incident. Nor will an Offence Committed be marked as an incident after the referee has marked a previous incident that stops play, such as an Offside or a handball.
Foul won
The player who was fouled, as explained in fouls committed (above).
Handball
It is marked as an incident when the referee signals the gameplay action in which a player has deliberately and intentionally touched the ball with one or both hands (excluding goalkeepers within the penalty area).
When there is a handball, and the referee applies the Advantage Rule, that offense will not be marked as a game incident. The same goes for a Handball committed after the referee marks a previous incident that stops play, such as an Offside.
Free kick
When a player sanctions an offense that must be resumed by executing a free kick, and it will be taken in a dangerous area or will promote a dangerous play, the Producer loads the incident after marking the foul and indicating the origin and destination of it.
If a goal is scored as a result of executing a free kick, either directly by the kick taker or a teammate, after marking the Free Kick incident, the Goal incident must be marked. In case another player scores the goal, the free kick taker will be considered the Assistant.
Offside
Offside is marked when a player is in an offside position, as indicated by the referee or one of the assistant referees.
By rule, it is marked when an attacking player is closer to the opposing goal line than the ball and the second-to-last defender.
Every Offside sanction nullifies and renders ineffective the charge of Goals, Offences, or Handballs that occur after the Offside Position has been marked by the referee.
Clearance
A Clearance is considered every rejection, launch, or impact of the ball by a player with any part of the body allowed by FIFA regulations, which involves moving the ball away to eliminate the danger of the opponent scoring a goal in their goalpost. The Clearance is never considered a Correct Pass, an Incorrect Pass, or a Tackle.
A clearance must always prevent a direct dangerous action.
The intentionally long kick that the goalkeeper makes to place the ball near the opponent’s area, without pressure and from any sector of the field, is not a clearance.
A Goal Kick is also not a Clearance.
Sometimes, if the defender is calmer or not under pressure, they can clear the ball while aiming it towards a teammate, and it could be recorded as a successful pass in the passing statistics. (Note that clearances and clearances to corner are recorded as separate statistics).
Clearances to corner
A Corner Clearance is considered every rejection, launch, or clearance of the ball by a defensive player out of the Goal Line with any part of the body allowed by FIFA regulations. The Corner Clearance is not considered a Correct Pass or an Incorrect Pass.
We count a clearance to corner as any action where a defender sends the ball to the corner for the opposing team, whether it is done to avoid danger, or sometimes when a deflection or rebound causes the ball to go out and become a corner kick for the opponent (a clearance to corner should be recorded as the preceding incident to a corner kick for the opposing team). Even when the goalkeeper makes a save and sends the ball to the corner, both the save (from the opposing team’s shot) and the clearance to corner are recorded.
Throw in
The throw in is a way to restart the game by throwing the ball with both hands from outside the sideline of the field, and it is awarded to the opponents of the last player who touched the ball before it crossed the sideline, either on the ground or in the air.
Goal kick
The goal kick is a variation to restart the game and it is awarded after the ball has completely crossed the goal line, either on the ground or in the air, after being touched by an attacking player and no goal has been scored.
A goal kick is NOT a clearance and is only marked as a pass if the goalkeeper directly and clearly passes the ball to a teammate.
Corner kicks
The corner kick is awarded when the ball has crossed the goal line, either on the ground or in the air, after being touched by a defending player and no goal has been scored.
The corner kick is taken with the feet and from the corner arc of the field.
It is possible for the referee to signal the end of the game BEFORE the corner kick is taken. In that case, the incident should not be recorded.
Nutmeg
Action in which a player passes the ball through an opponent’s legs to get past them or to pass to another teammate.
Chip
Action in which a player lifts the ball over an opponent and then continues running with the ball under control.
Yellow card
This incident is recorded once the referee shows a yellow card to a starting or substitute player. This card is used to communicate a caution and can be given for the following reasons:
• Unsporting behaviour
• Repetitive fouls
• Time-wasting
• Not respecting the distance of the wall
• Entering the field of play without permission from the referee
• Leaving the field of play without permission from the referee
• Simulating an infringement Insulting or disapproving the referee
• Not complying with the referee’s directives
• Arguing with an opponent
• Taking off the shirt
• Holding an opponent to prevent them from advancing
Red card
This incident is recorded once the referee shows a red card to a starting or substitute player. This card is used to communicate an expulsion and can be given for the following reasons:
• Serious foul play
• Violent conduct
• Unsporting behaviour
• Handball to prevent a goal
• Foul to prevent a goal
If the expulsion occurs outside of the TV broadcast and the referee later reports it in the Referee’s Report, it will be marked as an incident the minute it occurred.
NOTE: Starting in 2020, FIFA has approved that the Technical Director CAN receive a card. In case this happens, the incident will be marked as unsporting behaviour, invasion of the field or disrespect.
Substitution
This incident is recorded after the referee orders a substitution and once the player entering the field has crossed the sideline.
Match times
Regulation time finished
This incident is used to indicate that the Second Half has ended, but the match has not been decided and will continue with Extra Time or Penalty Kicks.
This incident is not marked when the match has ended in its regular 90 minutes.
Penalty shootout begins
This incident is used to indicate that a match that remains tied after the regulation 90 minutes (and in some cases Extra Time) will be decided by alternating penalty kicks.
Match finished
This incident indicates that the match has ended, and the score is final.
It is the last incident that should be marked, either after the regulation 90 minutes (plus stoppage time), after both extra halves have been played, or at the end of the penalty shootout.
Temporary suspensions of a match
During partial suspensions of matches, it is important to indicate that the clocks will continue to run. In referee reports, this is taken into account in clock time. For this reason, and according to FIFA regulations, the timers will continue to run, and the incidents will be loaded in the clock hour minute they occurred. In any case, it is advisable to synchronise the loading screen clock with the one shown on TV.
Permanent suspensions of matches
If a match is definitively suspended, the status will be indicated in the incidents.
Once the official decision to resume the match is made, the day, time, and possibly the referee, as well as modifications to the starting lineup, substitute players, and coaches, may be changed.
For their part, the incidents will indicate the time and minute officially determined by the officials of the game and the League, in the remaining minutes of the match.
Added time
This is the additional time added by the referee at the end of each half to make up for lost time due to substitutions, injuries, and other events.
Recovery of lost time
All incidents that occur after the regulation 45 minutes of each half and the 15 additional minutes in each half will be assigned to the corresponding minutes of each half:
• FIRST AND SECOND HALF, Minute 45 onwards.
• FIRST AND SECOND EXTRA TIME, Minute 15 onwards.
Postponed match
When a match that was already scheduled but has not started and will not be played as planned due to weather, security, or any other cause, the incident of Postponed Match is marked.
