General Rules
- The statistics given by the official score provider or the official website of the relevant competition will be used to settle bets. When the statistics of the official score provider or official website are not available, or there is substantial evidence that the official score provider or official website is incorrect, we will use independent evidence to support bet settlement.
- In the absence of consistent, independent evidence, or in the face of significant conflicting evidence, the bets will be settled following a thorough investigation.
- Official Game Time: All full-time bets are official after 8½ innings if the home time is in the lead, or after 9 full innings if the visiting team is winning. This includes money line or ´to win´ bets, total runs (over/under), and run line betting. A game will be considered official if:
- After 8.5 Innings the Home Team is winning
- After 9 Full Innings the Away Team is winning
- After 9 Full Innings the game’s tied.
- Home Team wins in the bottom of the 9th inning. If the Home Team ties the game in the bottom of the 9th inning, and the game’s suspended and not completed, all bets will be no action.
- Any baseball game that goes into extra innings is considered an official game. For betting purposes, if an extra inning is not played completely, the score will revert to the previous completed inning.
- Game length changes: If a game is scheduled to be played as a regular 9-inning game; but before the start it is announced that it will be reduced to a 7-inning game, then all bets will be void on the original lines. Bets will also be void in the reverse situation: a game is scheduled for 7 innings, but it is changed to 9 innings. In both scenarios, once the new odds are published bets can be placed again.
- In the event that a double-header game is scheduled for just 7 innings (such as in the MLB 2020 season), it must go 7 innings (6½ if the home team is winning) for the bets to have action.
- Unless otherwise stated, all baseball bets (professional, college, and softball) are ‘Action’ bets. This includes teams, totals, run lines (handicap/spread), team totals, first five innings, and innings. Action – this is a team versus team bet. The bet has action at a confirmed price, regardless of the starting pitcher.
Example: You place a bet at -160 and it is confirmed; then there is a change of pitcher after the confirmation. Even if the line moves at -130 or -200 depending on the new pitcher, your bet still has action at -160. - We do not recognize postponed games, protests, or overturned decisions for betting purposes. As long as the event starts (in other words, the first pitch is thrown before midnight local time) on the scheduled day, all bets will have action. If inclement weather (or similar delay) pushes the start time to after midnight local time, but the game takes place, all bets will have action.
Special rules for MLB exhibition baseball
- Games must last 5 innings (or 4½ if the home team is winning) for them to count as an official game for money line betting.
- After the 5th inning, if an inning is not played to completion, the score will revert to the previously completed inning, unless the home team has won.
- Regarding run lines and totals, the games must last 9 innings (or 8½ if the home team is ahead) for bets to be official.
Suspended/postponed games (MLB, NCAA, Dominican Republic)
- For full-game bets to have action, the game must reach the official game time with a winner declared before 5 am PT of the following day.
- If a game is suspended and is not completed before 5 am PT of the following day, all the bets in the full game will be void and the amounts wagered will be reimbursed. This applies to games suspended before they start and games suspended during play.
- This rule does not apply during playoffs. All postseason bets have action provided that the game is completed within 30 days from the original start date.
- All bets placed in markets whose results have already been determined, will have action.
Suspended/postponed games (International Leagues and Softball)
- In respect of International Leagues (excluding the Dominican Republic league) and Softball, in order for full-game bets to have action, the game must reach the official game time with a winner declared within 36 hours of the scheduled start time.
- If a game is suspended and is not completed with a winner declared within 36 hours of the scheduled start time, all the bets in the full game will be void and the amounts wagered will be reimbursed. This applies to games suspended before they start and games suspended during play.
- This rule does not apply during the playoffs. All postseason bets have action provided that the game is completed within 30 days from the original start date.
- All bets placed in markets whose results have already been determined, will have action.
Team name and location changes (Future bets have action)
If an organization undergoes a change of team name, future bets placed before the change will not be affected and will still have action. This applies to any part of the name that is changed (mascot/logo or the city/region).
For example, if a bet is placed on a team to win the championship, and prior to the start of the season this team announces that it will use a new mascot, the bet stands.
This also applies to any location changes that might occur, such as a team that transfers its home games to a new stadium for either a portion or the whole season. In this case, futures bets for this team will have action.
This must not be confused with a change of venue of an individual game, in which case different rules will apply and the non-future bets may be void.
Future bets covered by these rules include (but are not limited to) teams to win a division, conference or championship, team season win totals, awards to individual players, and statistical achievements.
Mercy Rule
In baseball, a mercy rule is enforced whereby the game is stopped if a team is winning by a sufficiently large margin at a certain point of the game (for example, if the NCAA team is leading by over 10 runs after 7 innings).
In any situation where the mercy rule is invoked, games are considered complete for betting purposes, and all bets on money lines, totals, and run lines will have action.
First and Second Half betting
For betting purposes, the first half of a baseball game is counted from the start of the game until the end of the fifth inning. The second half goes from the top of the sixth inning to the end of the game. If a game goes past the ninth inning, all the scores in the extra innings will count towards the second half bets. All bets on the first half will have action once the game reaches 5 completed innings (4½ if the home team is winning). If a game is suspended before completing 4½ or 5 innings, bets will be void, unless it’s resumed and completed by:
- MLB, NCAA, Dominican Republic Baseball: 5 am PT of the following day.
- International Leagues, Softball: 36 hours of the scheduled start time.
All-Star Game Tie Rule
If the 2022 MLB All-Star game is tied after 9 innings, the game will go to a Home Run contest. A single run will be added to the total score for the winning team.
Example: If tied 3-3 after 9 full innings, and the NL (National League) wins the Home Run contest, the final score of the game will be NL 4-3.
If this occurs, the final score will be the official score for grading purposes on all sides Money Lines, Totals, and Run Lines.
However, all prop bets are limited to the first full 9 innings of play and do not include the home run contest.
Number of wins in the regular MLB season
This is a bet based on the Over/Under of the team’s overall winning percentage for the regular season.
- The team must play a minimum of 160 games of the regular season for the ‘Season Wins’ bets to have action.
- These kinds of bets do not include playoff games; they are regular season only.
- ‘Wild card tie-breaker’ games at the end of the season are considered playoff games and do not count towards the regular season totals.
- The winning percentage displayed at the end of the regular season on mlb.com will be the official source for rating purposes.
Baseball series (Regular Season)
- Bets on baseball series are based on the first three games played in each series.
- At least two of the first three games must be played for the bets to have action.
- If only one of the first three games is postponed or canceled, the bets on the series stay as they are.
- If two of the first three games are postponed or canceled, all the bets on that series will be graded as ‘No action’ and the money will be refunded.
- A called game will count towards a series bet, provided it is officially declared a regulation game. The 9-innings rule does not apply.

Inning propositions
Scoring in the First Inning
As soon as a run is scored in the 1st inning, all bets will have action, even if the game is delayed, or suspended at any later time (even in the first inning).
If the 1st inning is completed without a single run having been scored and the game is suspended, all bets will have action. Bets will be no action only if the game is suspended with a 0-0 tie, while still in the first inning.
Team with most runs in the inning
You bet on the team with the larger run score in a specific inning.
If there is a tie for the highest-scoring inning, all bets will be graded as a tie.
Team which is ahead after the (X) inning
You bet on which team will be in the lead as from a specific inning.
For bets to have action, the full inning must be completed.
Team to win (X) inning
You bet on the team which will win a specific inning.
If the inning ends in a tie, the bet will be no action.
Who will win the 9th inning? If the home team does not have to bat, it will be graded as a score of 0 for that team.
Player propositions
Total bases bets
The “total bases” bet is a game up between two players in the same game, where you bet on which player will make most bases in the game.
The bases are only awarded in hits, as follows:
- Single = 1 base.
- Double = 2 bases.
- Triple = 3 bases.
- Home run = 4 bases.
Bases are not awarded for any of the following:
- Walking, including when this is intentional.
- Advancing by Mistake.
- Triple = 3 bases.
- Advancing during the pitch.
- Advancing in a third strike.
- Stolen bases.
- Hit by pitch.
The official MLB (or the applicable league) scoring is used (including plays voided through the video review); and league decisions are final.
For bets to have action, the full 9 innings must be played (8½ if the home team is in the lead) and both players must have at least one turn at batting; and both players must start the game.
If a player begins in a defensive position but is withdrawn from the game before recording an at bat, the bet will have no action.

For the Grand Salami, all games are action (not listed pitchers).
