Completing the address verification process in your Betcris account is very simple. You just need to follow these steps:
- Login to your Betcris account.
- Click on ‘Cashier’.
- Mobile Users: the ‘Cashier’ is located on the ‘Main Menu’ at the top left of your screen.
- Desktop Users: the ‘Cashier’ is located at the top of your screen.
- Select your ‘Account’ icon at the top of your screen.
- Click on ‘Documents Verification’ at the bottom of the Cashier.
- Select ‘Document Verification’ and then ‘Proof of address’.
- Follow the instructions to prepare the document image and click ‘Start’.
- Click on ‘Public service receipt’, select the appropriate file to attach, and then click ‘Send’.
- Please refer to the ‘History’ section to check the status of the document. The ‘Cashier’ will provide you with the latest information regarding the status of your verification.
Acceptable documents for Address Verification
You can attach one of the following documents to complete your address verification:
- Public Service Receipt:
- Must be recent (issued within the last 3 months).
- In the name of the account holder.
- May include utilities such as water, electricity, gas, internet or line land.
- Bank or Credit Card Statement:
- Issued by a recognized financial institution, digital statements are not allowed.
- It must include residential address and must not be more than 3 months old.
- Taxes Declaration:
- Issued by a tax authority within the last year.
- It must show the registered address and the name of the account holder.
- Lease or Mortgage Agreement:
- A current lease, signed by both parties (landlord and tenant).
- It must include the complete address of the residence.
- Must be accompanied by proof of lease payment for the last 2 months.
- Governmental Correspondence:
- Official letters or notices issued by a governmental authority.
- May include communications related to social security, work permits, or social benefits.
- Residence Certificate:
- Issued by a local or municipal authority.
- It must be an official document confirming the holder’s residence.
- Banking Reference Letter:
- Issued by an accredited financial institution.
- It must include the holder’s address and be dated within the last 3 months.
Specific Requirements
- All documents must be issued within the last 3 months, with specific exceptions such as tax returns.
- Official letterhead: All documents must include the letterhead of the issuing entity.
- Matching name and address: The name and address on the document must match the data registered in the holder’s account.
Documents Not Accepted
- Mobile telephone receipts.
- Documents in the name of third parties.
- Utility bills that are not clearly associated with a residential property (e.g., cable TV online).
