Note: When the team with the ball reaches a certain field position, the ‘Drive Result’ option will be removed and it will be replaced with the ‘Drive Outcome’ option. Exactly when this happens is NOT the same for every drive, this is determined by management, but is primarily based on increasing probabilities for an offensive score to happen.

Also, keep in mind the following rules:

General Rules

  1. Drive betting is not offered on all games. For NFL, it will be available on prime-time evening games (Sunday night, Monday night, Thursday night, etc.). In some rare cases, lines may be offered on afternoon NFL games as well, based on management’s decision. For NCAA, drive betting will be offered only on Bowl Games.
  2. All propositions will have one winning outcome. In the event that more than one winning outcome applies, the first outcome to occur will be considered the winning outcome and all other options will be considered losing outcomes.
  3. For grading purposes, COM will be the official source of NFL games, and ESPN will be the official source for college.

First Play of Drive

  1. Any accepted penalty, including false start, will be graded as ‘Any other outcome’, except in the event that the penalty is added to a gain on a completed pass or rushing play; in that case, the result will be ‘Rush for a gain’ or ‘Completed pass’.
  2. If a pass is completed but the play results in a loss of yards, it will still be graded as a completed pass.
  3. In the event of a lost fumble after a completed pass or rushing play, the result for betting purposes will be ‘Any other outcome’.

Drive Results/Outcomes

  1. If, after a punt past the line of scrimmage, the receiving team fumbles and loses possession, the result of that drive will be ‘Punt past the line of scrimmage’ and the next play from scrimmage will be the start of a new drive.
  2. If a team turns the ball over and there is an official change of possession, that will be the end of the drive even if that team regains possession of the ball during the same play, and the next play from scrimmage will be the start of a new drive.
  3. Any punt or kickoff return does not count as a drive; at least one play from scrimmage is required for a possession to be considered a drive.
